The judges described the project as a radical, impressive and impactful project which truly delivers value to customers by taking advantage of MPLS Technology to bring together all of the disparate networks and migrating them onto a single common core. The consolidation of all services on a common backbone provided significant economies of scale and set a benchmark for other Public Sector agencies.
