In his current role Hendrik leads the Technical Operations and Systems Engineering Organisation for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Russia. As the CTO his key responsibilities include helping to build and evangelise the technology vision and strategy for Cisco's Collaboration & Video solutions.

Since joining Cisco in 1999 as a Systems Engineer, Hendrik has held several jobs in management, strategy, sales and business development, but has always stayed close to his passion for innovation and technology. In previous jobs he worked as an international trainer and consultant across the globe.

Based in Amsterdam, other passions include his wife and three boys, trying to play the piano and actively supporting a refugee care organisation.
